Internship Program Summer 2025- Dayton, OH

CFD Research is looking to fill our intern class for the Summer of 2025. Interns in this program will support research in their area of study and/or interest ranging from CFD Simulation Development and analysis, propulsion system development & analysis, test and evaluation of propulsion systems, software development, and more.

The program runs 8-10 weeks over the Summer and has flexible start and finish dates based on candidate's availability (typically mid-May to August).

Each CFD Research Internship has both a mentor and technical manager to help guide them on their research project over the summer. In addition to challenging technical work, CFD Research's program offers professional development and social activities designed to help our interns have a great, all around summer internship experience.

Typical Degrees hired will include:

  • Aerospace Engineering (Graduate and Undergraduate)
  • Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning as well) (Graduate and Undergraduate)
  • Biomedical Engineering, (Bioinformatics and Computational Biology, Biotechnology and Molecular Bioscience as well) (Graduate and Undergraduate)
  • Mechanical Engineering (Graduate or Undergraduate)
  • Other similar STEM Disciplines

Requirements:

  • Candidate must be a US Citizen and meet eligibility to work for any employer
  • Student must be pursuing a degree (Graduate or Undergraduate) in a major listed above or similar

Location:

  • Internship is 100% onsite and requires students to be available to work in our Dayton, Ohio area location for the Summer.
