Ware Malcomb has an exciting opportunity for an Architectural Designer / Production Coordinator to join our Washington, DC office!

Architectural Designers are recent graduates or junior architects responsible for assisting the Project Architect / Manager by leading the consultants and internal resources, maintaining project drawings, providing production support, and processing documentation during construction. This is a great entry-level or junior architect position, providing an opportunity to gain exposure to various stages of a project while working under the guidance of an experienced Project Architect / Manager.

Architectural Designer Requirements:

  • Architectural related Technical or Bachelor’s degree. A Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture degree is preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in the field of architecture is preferred (Internship experience is included).
    •  We will also consider recent graduates with strong Revit skills.
  • Proficiency in Revit is required.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, Newforma, and building codes preferred
  • Ability to coordinate a complete set of contract documents preferred
  • We are seeking a candidate with strong attention to detail and advanced skills in technical design, drafting, and drawing.
  • This hybrid position requires regular commuting to our Washington, DC office, site visits in Maryland, and occasional site visits in Virginia.
