$69,946 - $138,947 per year
Duties
The primary duties of this position are:
- Prepare preliminary design studies, design memoranda, final designs calculations, plans, technical specification provisions, and labor and materials estimates
- Establish design, related data criteria, requirements and methods for data collection
- Review designs for acceptability, conformance with standards, policies, legal requirements, and cost effectiveness
- Resolve conflicts and differences to assure compatibility with the project objectives
- Adapt or modifies design criteria to meet field conditions
- Prepare contract task orders for work to be done
- Prepare correspondence, technical reports, estimates, fact sheets, status reports, and schedules as required to complete project assignments
- Serve as Contracting Officer's Technical Representative
- Provide technical guidance to a team of engineers and technicians
- Coordinate and integrate work products
- Provide technical support, advice, and consultation to Regional and field project personnel
