Project Designer/Landscape Architect (3-6 years experience)

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Using your professional experience in the creative and technical aspects of the profession for the design and development of public improvement projects;
  • Developing site design, layout plans, grading plans with minimal oversight;
  • Preparing and working with staff to complete construction document sets;
  • Interacting with multi-disciplinary teams;
  • Performing construction administration;
  • Collaborating with the team in determining project details and deadlines;
  • Leading project meetings, presenting at public meetings, and board, commission, or council meetings.

What We're Seeking:

  • Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture, minimum;
  • 3-6 years of progressive landscape architectural experience, additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree in landscape architecture;
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office;
  • Sketchup & Lumion experience is a plus;
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills;
  • Self-motivated and proactive approaches to work products;
  • Effective organizational skills that help prioritize and manage work products and deadlines.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • This position, once established, has the option of a hybrid schedule;
  • Flexible paid time off (PTO);

  • Base compensation range: $68,000-$80,000, dependent on experience;
  • Company sponsored membership to ASLA and CLARB, as well as paid state licensing dues.
