The Opportunity

The Product Quote Estimator will be a key component of the Sales Execution team and is responsible for delivering on sales and product commitments to customers across North America.  This role will be responsible for key steps within quote to order cycle both as part of large project teams (under the guidance of Project Managers) and/ Project/Quote Coordinators.  

The Team

The role will report directly to the Manager, Application Engineering and Quotation and interface with the Project/Quote Coordinators, Application Engineering, and/or Product Management group to ensure quote accuracy and timely quote turnaround, working closely with the Project/Quote Coordinator to ensure all business requirements are fulfilled.

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze quote requirements to provide equipment quotations
  • Review, read and understand equipment drawings.
  • Read 2D and 3D drawings for components and assemblies
  • Understand technical requirements and work with third party vendors on components. 
  • Interface directly with the Project/Quote Coordinators and Application Engineering to support Sales Execution activities.
  • Apply the knowledge of AGI product lines to deliver detailed Quote Documents.  
  • Participate and contribute to AGI 2.0 internal business development projects. 
  • Maintain file organization structure, participate in developing and maintaining project task boards (JIRA), Salesforce and SharePoint sites.
  • Other Duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering, Business or Agriculture or equivalent experience preferred
  • 3+ years relevant experience in Product Configuration and/or estimating preferred.  
  • Ability to read 2D and 3D drawings for components and assemblies
  • Preference for experience in Agriculture.
  • Experience with complex technical customer requirements.
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills.
  • Exceptional Time Management/Multi-Tasking
  • Superior business analysis and project management capabilities
  • Experience operating within a matrix organization. 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective collaborator across functional disciplines
  • Ability to thrive & grow in a continuously evolving environment
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
  • MS Office Proficiency (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Teams)
  • Ability to work within multiple software applications and/or ERP Systems for quoting purposes
