Entry Level Design Engineer

Roaring Fork Engineering (RFE) is seeking an Entry Level Design Engineer to join our team in Carbondale. The position is focused on land development, municipal infrastructure, transportation, water/wastewater, and water resource engineering. 

Typical Responsibilities

• Assisting in the design of assigned civil engineering projects.
• Developing your technical (e.g. Civil 3D, GIS, Infowater Pro, etc.) skills.
• Contributing to the production of plans and specifications.
• Attending meetings and site visits with project manager.
• Providing support to the project manager.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• EIT certification or plan to obtain certification.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication.

Additional Desired Skills

• Familiarity with Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Internship experience, preferably within a consultant office.
• Familiarity with water resource management, including stormwater management, low impact design, utility design, municipal water supply, and irrigation.
