EDR is seeking Design Engineers for our Syracuse, and Rochester, New York offices. The team works on Wind/Solar Renewable Energy, K-12, College & University, Substation and Transmission, Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Transportation, and Green Infrastructure Type Projects.  Engineering Services include but are not limited to Site Grading & Stormwater Management, Storm Sewer Design & Erosion & Sediment Control, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP), Water Distribution & Sanitary Sewer Collection, Structural & Retaining Wall Design, Road Design & Rehabilitation, Flood Plain Management, Construction Administration & Stream & Wetland Restoration Design.

Design Engineers develop assigned engineering designs, construction drawings, reports, calculations, and technical specifications; serve as a member of and contribute to teams that include landscape architects, engineers, environmental scientists, planners, GIS analysts, graphic artists, etc.; work with Teams to provide innovative, aesthetic, cost-effective, and practical solutions for projects; A Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Water Resources or Environmental Engineering is required.

The anticipated base pay of $55,000+ per year is commensurate with experience. EDR reserves the right to pay outside of the target range based on an individual’s education, credentials, skill level and relevant experience, as well as internal pay equity, geographic location, and business needs.
