Abbott Research and Development Intern

You will be a key contributer in the continuous and future development of our next generation structural mitral valve heart devices.  Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Use empirical, numerical, and experimental analysis to classify designs
- Design and development of test methods to evaluate new and current designs
- Work cross-functionally with with other internal Abbott departments to assess new technologies
- Coordinate external vendor relations to obtain parts and prototypes
- Present design concepts, data analysis, and coordinate projects
- Ability to work in a team and as an individual contributor in a fast paced environment
- Multi-tasker that prioritizes and meets deadlines in a timely manner
- Outgoing and organized with an inclination to learn new technologies
- Some experience with SolidWorks and/or other design software platforms
