Your Responsibilities
As a Product Specialist - Forestry for JD Dubuque Works, Davenport Works, John Deere Speciality Products (Langley, BC) you will...
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with dealer technicians to minimize machine downtime.
- Implement root cause analysis and effective corrective action for continuing improvement and prioritization of issues.
- Solicit and analyze feedback from customers and dealers and evaluate results to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Work with engineering, production and other internal JD functional groups to improve product quality.
- Close communication with Forestry Management and Leadership, Engineering, and Manufacturing employees.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 75% domestically and internationally

What Skills You Need
- Experience with Construction and/or Forestry dealers and customers.
- Experience diagnosing and repairing Construction and/or Forestry equipment.
- Knowledge of Forestry products, customers, markets and competitors.
- Strong technical diagnostics background.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 75% domestically and internationally.
What Makes You Stand Out
- Operational experience with forestry equipment (Skidder, Wheeled Feller Buncher, Tracked Feller Buncher, Knuckle Boom Loader, Wheeled Harvester, Wheeled Forwarder, and Forestry Heads).
- Experience with Forestry equipment competitors.
- Exceptional teamwork, relationship, and communication skills to work with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and other internal JD functional groups.
- Forestry product engineering and design experience.
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor's degree in a business, engineering or technology discipline, or equivalent.
