Chemical Process Engineers work as part of a project team in the planning, concept design and detailed engineering for industrial process systems. Our entry level Chemical Process Engineers are introduced to the full range of process engineering skills and techniques and will work under the guidance of a professional engineer.

- Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, required.
- Pursuing or have passed EIT (FE) Exam.

Responsibilities
- Process Design & Detail Engineering including performing process simulations, design calculations, Process Optimization, sizing & selection of equipment, etc.
- Review of Clients documents, specifications, data sheets, verification of FEED/FEL design & calculations.
- Analysis of requirements from applicable codes (NFPA, OSHA, ASME etc..)
- Preparation of various engineering deliverables (Drawings & Documents) such as BFDs, PFDs, P&IDs, Process Datasheets, Equipment Specifications, Cause & Effect Diagrams, control philosophies, PHA Studies & reports, etc.
- Evaluation of equipment bids, answering RFIs and reviewing submittals.
- Professional communication with clients and equipment vendors.
- Collaboration with all engineering and design disciplines.
- Become proficient using engineering and design software including but not limited to AutoCAD, Smart PID, Winsim Design II, and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Participate in project meetings and training initiatives.
- Periodically visit project sites to gather field information (travel approximately 10%).
