Revit and Autocad Designer for MEP Engineering Firm

Primary Engineering is a consulting engineering firm specializing in mechanical HVAC, plumbing, power distribution, lighting, communication and technology systems with offices in Fort Wayne, Indiana and Indianapolis, Indiana. Our clients include commercial clients such as K-12 school districts, universities, architectural firms, commercial clients, and industrial clients. Our work for the past 20 years spans the Midwest United States as well as projects located in over 15 states.

 

We are seeking multiple candidates to add to our team that will assist with design, drawing, BIM coordination, and management of design documentation.   The systems that we design include commercial HVAC ductwork, boiler and chiller piping plants, domestic plumbing supply, sanitary piping, power distribution, and lighting systems. We currently use Revit and AutoCAD with Navisworks to develop construction documents for our clients.

 

Our team utilizes the latest technology to perform 3D scanning, point cloud creation, and design coordination with a multi-disciplinary team for our projects.  The position(s) is a full-time staff position that includes a competitive salary, healthcare insurance, life insurance, retirement savings plan with matching funds, paid vacation, paid holidays, summer hours, flex-time, and company paid continuing education and training.

The successful candidate will have or be pursuing either an Associates degree or Bachelors degree in engineering, technology, construction, design and drafting related fields with a desire to learn on the job.
