We are currently seeking PhD candidates in pharmaceutical sciences, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or other related scientific fields for a 10-12 week internship during the summer of 2023.
Objectives/Goals of the Position:
Developing sustained and immediate release parenteral formulations to enhance the delivery of challenging small molecule leads.
Primary Duties:
Design and optimize sustained and immediate release parenteral formulations (e.g. polymer based micro/nanoparticles, liposomes, solid nanoparticles) using different techniques.
Develop suitable in vitro methods to characterize the formulations.
Position Requirements:
- PhD candidate in Pharmaceutical sciences, Materials Science, Chemial Engineering, or other related scientific fields
- Skills in preformulation & formulation development, dissolution testing, particle size analysis and HPLC operration are essential.
- Experience in sustained release parenteral dosage form is a plus.
