Commercial Analyst
Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic annual plans that include actions/programs to strengthen LSPI differentiation
- Assess data from a variety of sources to gain insights into market trends and make recommendations to increase market share and profitability for drag reducing agents.
- Track customer engagement to develop effective global strategies for products and offerings.
- Recommend pricing strategies that align closely with market trends and model successful long-term pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive Commercial Plans/Dashboards for all assets.
- Monitors and reports the various risks of the portfolio.
- Assist in all facets of asset optimization projects (ex. Identify new opportunities, preparation of discounted cash flow models, and present opportunities for approval).
- Supports the development of the annual budget process.
- Builds, maintains, and publishes internal models for tracking customer specific metrics per contractual terms.
- Review, analyze and evaluate business processes and customer needs.
- Providing support to business leadership team.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- BA or BS degree required
- Required experience in the commercial space (sales operations, commercial operations, marketing, market access), within O&G or chemical industry preferred.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
- Strong capabilities in Microsoft Power BI
- The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously at various stages of their development.
- Excellent verbal, written communication, presentation and people skills.
- Basic understanding of commercial contracts and regulatory issues related to sales.
Preferred Skills Competencies:
- Basic understanding of fluid mechanics and, specifically, pipeline hydraulics.
- Flow improver product functional knowledge.
- In-depth knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis.
- Familiarity with Intellectual Property issues and transportation knowledge.
- Have the confidence to work cross-functionally with various departments including business stakeholders and technical personnel to exchange ideas.
