Biologist/ Environmental Engineer/ Physical Scientist-OCSPP

Summary

These positions are in the Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention (OCSPP), Office of Pollution Prevention and Toxics, Existing Chemicals Risk Assessment Division, Risk Assessment Branch 1 and 4. If selected, you must work at the location stated in this announcement.

About the Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention: OCSPP

Duties

At the entry level of this position, you will:
- Provide technical support to senior level experts and subject matter specialists on industrial chemicals, genetically-engineered microorganisms, and nanomaterials;
- Provide scientific or engineering support for environmental fate and transport and exposure assessment activities;
- Provide technical support to identify environmental fate and transport, exposure, and risk-related research needs;
- Provide support for the application of data storage and retrieval systems, methods, and models for assessing environmental fate and transport and exposure.
-Assist in the development of briefing materials and reports related to programs and activities for senior scientists.
