Engineering Manager

The following challenges await you:
Engineering
•   Provide technical advice as well as expertise pertaining to the telecom fiber industry 
•   Assist in developing and implementing the future direction; assist in creating strategic management, operational and financial plans
•   Collaborate and communicate with peers and employees to ensure the direction is understood and followed; motivate team members by maintaining strong staff relations
•   Document technical risks, requirements, issues and training as applicable; troubleshoot and provide technical solutions and suggestions
•   Lead and manage the Maintenance and Engineering resources to successfully execute activities
Maintenance 
•   Oversee the installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair of all equipment, buildings, and grounds necessary for the continuity of manufacturing operations and the safety of plant personnel 
•   Establish policies and procedures to ensure the production data systems and machine controls systems are ready for production and meet production and customer needs.
•   Develop short-term and long-term corrective actions based off MTTR and MTBF KPI’s
•   Oversee the activities of outside contractors in areas related to maintenance

Your Profile:
•   Bachelor’s Degree, Masters, or Ph.D. in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Material Engineering, or a related discipline. 
•   A minimum of 15 years of experience in engineering and management is preferred. The equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. 
•   Strong emotional intelligence
