Biomedical Engineer / Industrial Hygienist

Seeking Biomedical Engineer or Industrial Hygienist with 3+ years of experience to provide health and safety support as well as contribute to applied R&D and product development teams.

Requirements

  • Exclusive US citizenship is required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance is required
  • MS or PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Chemical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university is required
  • Minimum 3 years industry experience with exposure assessment and control, ergonomics, aerosol science and technology, risk assessment, or health monitoring

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Qualified Candidates will be able to:
  • Leverage knowledge of exposure assessment and control, ergonomics, aerosol science and technology, risk assessment, and health/physiological monitoring
  • Develop concepts to improve functionality and usability of exposure and health monitoring technology
  • Work with product design engineers to incorporate recommendations as part of multidisciplinary technology development team
  • Conduct field testing and/or lab testing and analysis of innovative health monitoring devices
  • Assist CRG’s internal health and safety team by:
  • Supporting management of existing engineering controls and implementation of new controls for future R&D and production efforts
  • Supporting exposure monitoring assessments for unique material handling operations, including sampling/monitoring, data analysis, and implementation of hazard controls.
