Sales Executive

I.        Summary
The Sales Executive is responsible for managing all sales, marketing, and product management activities related to their assigned product line(s).
 
II.       Supervisory Responsibilities: None
 
III.       Essential Duties and Responsibilities
·        Maintain and grow new business across multiple markets worldwide
·        Responsible for meeting or exceeding sales and margin goals
·        Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction maintaining close contact with all assigned customers and prospects – including follow up on concerns, new product ideas, etc.
·        Provide documented activity reports of sales efforts for each sales trip and monthly summaries
·        Develop monthly sales projection for assigned product lines
·        Formulate annual sales strategy and forecast for the welding and hardfacing product lines
·        Work closely with customer service to resolve customer complaints in a timely manner and in accordance with company policy
·        Work with R&D to address customer needs through the implementation of new products
·        Identify opportunities and generate leads through proactive business development activity
·        Lead and/or participate in company projects as assigned
·        Follow all requirements of the Polymet Employee Handbook and safety policies
·        Understand and follow all Polymet Quality Management System (QMS) documents
 
 
 
IIII. Qualifications and Requirements
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The qualifications and requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability necessary to do so.
 
Minimum:
·        BA/BS from an accredited university
·        0-1 years of B2B sales and/or customer service experience
·        Excellent sales and presentation skills
·        Strong business acumen and willingness to cold call, prospect, and grow business
·        Ability to spend approximately 25-30% of time traveling internationally and domestically
·        Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
·        Ability to communicate and influence varying levels across customer organizations
