Associate Chemical Engineer

Basic Function

We seek technical and results-oriented engineers who have strong communication skills, show initiative, have high personal standards, strive for innovation and want to grow and develop in a creative team environment. Opportunities exist in production, process, control systems, research and project engineering.

Roles & Responsibilities

This is a full-time position with a competitive base salary, bonus opportunity, 401K matching, generous benefits package, and pension plan.

Production Engineer: Focus on day-to-day operation and optimization of an existing unit; Identify and implement improvements to plant safety, environmental and profitability performance.

Process Engineer: Evaluate and develop major projects and debottlenecks; serve as a technical resource for the corporation; develop and improve systems to maintain excellent process safety and environmental performance.

Control System Engineer: Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot control schemes; develop and troubleshoot process models used in predictive control schemes. 


Project Engineering : Leads a multi-disciplinary team of engineers to develop and implement large projects; Manages all aspects of a project, from concept through construction; Interfaces with outside companies for engineering, purchasing of materials, and construction; Monitors activities to ensure they meet the goals of the project and adhere to company standards; Maintains responsibility for the project budget and timeline.

Min. Qualifications

Minimum Education Requirements: must have obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or an equivalent degree from an accredited university.

Overall GPA of 3.0 or greater.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status.
