Biological Science Technician
This position is located with United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Pacific West Area (PWA), National Clonal Germplasm Repository in Corvallis, OR and will support unit scientists.
THIS IS A TERM APPOINTMENT NOT TO EXCEED 13 MONTHS WITH OPTION TO EXTEND UP TO 4 YEARS
Assists in one or more phases of the research process by performing a variety of technical duties, in a laboratory, field, or greenhouse environment.
Maintains inventory of chemicals, prepares solutions and reagents for use in the laboratory, field, or greenhouse.
Collects, prepares, evaluates, and verifies samples and supporting records; maintains records and locates and compiles data and other information from various sources.
Performs routine and recurring techniques and studies using a variety of specialized equipment.
