Packaging Engineer
Packaging Engineer - Associate - C101160
Location: Center Line, MI
The Packaging Engineer responsibilities include but not limited to:
• New model part set up
• Supplier packaging specification and cost approvals
• Non-Conformance ticket resolution
• Packaging standardization
• Supplier training as needed
• Special Projects as needed with management
• Cost Savings projects as needed
• Must drive to various plants in metro Detroit, pick up the parts, get them packaged, and make sure we can get them shipped to dealers.
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in Packaging Engineering
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, organization and communication skills
• Strong knowledge of FCA mainframe systems & applications
• Microsoft Access and Excel experience required
• Automotive experience preferred
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment preferred
Driving a company's vehicle is a requirement for this position.
Will be required to drive a company car. Valid driver’s license is required as well as a clean driving record.
