Job Summary
The role of a research immunology product category specialist involves in product line management and day-to-day operations. The work duties and responsibilities involve the following aspects: (1) Provide technical support to customers and the sales team to facilitate sale transactions; (2) Monitor catalog product inventory levels and provide forecast and updates to planning group; (3) Maintain and expand research use immunology product portfolios, prepare product’s marketing campaigns, draft contents for new products launch, and monitor market feedback.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain and improve the portfolios of existing or new diagnostic immunology products.
  • Seamlessly coordinates with the internal stakeholders to smooth the new product campaigns. To work cross-functionally with Marketing, Operation, Sales, and Quality to ensure a successful product launch.
  • Work with key account managers and business development team to provide business opportunity assessment & market feasibility analysis so that the requirements of inquired products by customers can be met.
  • Work with key account managers as a technical lead and product champion on sales calls and customer visits to maintain and further expand the relationship.
  • Address industrial customers’ product or technical inquiries and provide the relevant pre-sale and post-sale consultations if needed.
  • Convey the forecasted material demand and usage from the customers to Operation team to ensure the supply chain stability and batch/lot consistency of diagnostic immunology products.
  • Provide essential assistance for Purchasing to source new vendors for existing or new diagnostic immunology products.
  • Conduct market research, identify potential OEM partners and facilitate further collaborations.
  • Arrange business meetings or product advertising activities such as tradeshows to industrial customers.
  • Other duties as assigned or evolve.
Qualifications
  • An MS+ degree in biology or life sciences-related subjects is preferred.
  • A good business & market sense is required. The candidates need to possess a strong ability to sense market trend and grab business opportunities with new product incorporations timely and know how to apply biological sciences knowledge to product and business developments.
  • Past business administration, product management, or marketing experiences are preferred.
  • Work as a team, the candidate is expected to possess excellent interpersonal skills in communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders and external collaborators to complete product management tasks.
  • The candidate is expected to be meticulous and responsive and excellent in analytical, logical, mathematical, written, and oral presentation skills.
