Chemical Engineer Co-op
Co-Op are cycled, full time opportunities for engineering students who are currently enrolled in a four-year college/university.
Daily Responsibilities
- Helping to build complex prototypes according to instructions received from engineers involving fabrication, modification, or assembly of materials and components.
- Contributing to the design process by suggesting alternative designs or material characteristics to meet market and/or customer requirements.
- Learn and utilize key manufacturing tools and systems; recommending improvements where needed
- Apply interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with fellow teammates and achieve common goals
- Running and assisting in product development trials.
- Data collection and analysis by computer-based programs to monitor quality and resolve process issues.
- Other engineering specific projects as requested
- It is expected that the co-op will complete a minimum of three work rotations.
Eligibility Requirements
- Ability to work 40-hour work weeks during rotation
- Willingness and ability to commit to a minimum of 3 rotations
- Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or other Engineering field required
- Minimum GPA 2.5
