Junior Model Based Controls Engineer

Introduction:

In the automotive industry, simulation analysis can allow engineers to locate and design solutions to many, if not all, potential problems before investing time and money into manufacturing a prototype. The benefit of using simulation for this purpose is that an engineer can test a vast array of use cases that could be difficult to test otherwise, easily make design adjustments, and they can save hundreds of thousands (if not more) in re-engineering costs by catching issues in simulation rather than in physical tests -- or worse after product launch, which would cause the need for recalls.

We are looking for highly motivated people to conduct research in control system design, real time optimization, first principles modeling of physical systems, estimation algorithms, analytics, model-based diagnostics and developing & deploying algorithms on edge hardware.

*Willing to sponsor for work authorization*
