How You Will Contribute
We are looking for a Jr. Systems Engineer (AgTech) to join our growing company. As part of the Data Intelligence & Automation team you will be working on developing technological solutions to improve the productivity of Lemna. You will have the opportunity to make an immediate and sustainable impact in the development of the company and gain experience working in a fast-moving startup.
What You Will Be Working On
Design and carry out experiments to test new sensor systems to measure Lemna biomass productivity and physiology under various growth conditions.
Improve existing and develop new sensor prototype systems as well as proprietary hardware and software programming.
Assist with conducting laboratory and greenhouse measurements.
Participate in data analysis and machine learning projects to forecast plant growth.
What You Will Bring to Plantible
B.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline; prior work experience on systems engineering projects is a plus.
A primary focus on simplification and optimization.
Willingness to work on projects involving data, engineering, and biology.
Ability to learn quickly, solve complex problems, and analyze and interpret data.
Proficient knowledge of programming languages (Python preferred).
Knowledge and understanding of electrical engineering.
Experience with sensor design is a plus.
