Controls Engineer
Phantom Technical Services, a Central Ohio based Control Systems Automation Integration firm, is seeking Controls Engineers to join its staff.
Duties:
· Control Circuit Design/Drafting using AutoCAD/AutoCAD Electrical
· Control Enclosure Layout Design/Drafting using AutoCAD/AutoCAD Electrical
· Development of Bill of Materials for Control System Designs
· Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) Programming
· Human Machine Interface (HMI) Programming
· Control System Installation, Startup, & Commissioning
· Electro-Mechanical Troubleshooting
Qualifications:
· Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology, or Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology or related industry experience
· Basic industrial electrical power, controls, and wiring
· Experience with PLC control system design
· Experience with electrical one-line drawings
· Read, understand, edit and create electrical control schematics in ladder diagram format
· Review electrical schematics and create control panel and enclosure designs, layouts, and bill of materials
· AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Electrical
· Control circuit schematic design
· Control enclosure layout design
· PLC Programming
· HMI Programming
· Analytical Skills
· Strong attention to detail
· Effective Electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills
· Ability to work effectively on an independent basis or as part of a team
· Verbal, written, & interpersonal communication skills
· Proficiency with Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
· Maintain a high degree of professionalism
