Engineering - Cyber Resiliency Office for Weapon Systems (CROWS)

AFCS is currently seeking multiple full-time Engineers and Computer Scientists to work for the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center/Cyber Resiliency Office for Weapon Systems (AFLCMC/CROWS).
 
The CROWS mission is to increase the cyber resiliency of Air Force weapon systems to maintain effective mission capability under adverse cyber conditions. With nine established Cyber Focus Teams at Wright Patterson Air Force Base (Ohio), Robins Air Force Base (Georgia), Hanscom Air Force Base (Massachusetts), Eglin Air Force Base (Florida), and Tinker Air Force Base (Oklahoma), we are looking to build these teams and establish more.

AFLCMC/CROWS is seeking candidates with subject matter expertise in the following technical disciplines:
  • Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering
  • Avionics Engineering
  • Computer Engineering
  • Computer Science (Information Technology as well)
  • Cybersecurity and Cyber Resiliency
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Manufacturing Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Nuclear Engineering
  • Systems Engineering

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • U.S. CITIZENSHIP
  • Engineers must possess a Bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited engineering program
  • Computer Scientists must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from an accredited college/university
  • Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise; employee must obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance.

To ensure compliance with an applicable nationwide preliminary injunction, which may be supplemented, modified, or vacated, depending on the course of ongoing litigation, the Federal Government will take no action to implement or enforce the COVID-19 vaccination requirement pursuant to Executive Order 14043 on Requiring Coronavirus Disease 2019 Vaccination for Federal Employees.
