Engineering - Palace Acquire (PAQ) Professional Development Program

We want “YOU” to be part of the United States Air Force - Science and Engineering Palace Acquire Developmental Program (S&E PAQ Program). The S&E PAQ Program is a development program that leads to a permanent engineering or science position after successful completion.

Bachelor of Science graduates qualify for a paid, full-time, three-year development and training program. The first and third years of this well-planned and unique program involve work experience, while the second year is dedicated to paid graduate studies (tuition, fees, and books) while maintaining your full salary. 

Master of Science degrees may also be considered and, if selected, may be placed in a two-year on-the-job training program. 

The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Engineering Directorate is currently seeking graduates in Engineering fields spanning Aerospace, Computer, Electrical, Electronics, Environmental, Materials, Mechanical, Systems, and more!

A PAQ offer includes a career development plan, competitive full-time salary, annual non-competitive promotions, student loan repayment plans, tuition reimbursement, and all the benefits Federal employees enjoy. Some eligible candidates may also receive a sign-on bonus and repayment of qualifying Federally insured student loans. These positions have a starting salary range of $50,050 for Bachelors and $61,227 for Masters.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • U.S. CITIZENSHIP
  • Minimum 2.95 GPA on a 4.0 grading scale
  • Bachelors/Masters Degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance (Air Force will fund the clearance)
