Scientist, Molecular Discovery

Therefore, we are seeking an innovative chemical biologist to work with a diverse group of scientists leading research on novel targets discovery from the bench. This is an exciting opportunity for a B.S. or M.S. level individual with chemistry, chemical biology, biochemistry, or a related field. 

·   The successful candidate will be able to design cell-based experiments to validate novel targets, target molecules, and new chemical biology assays
·  Design, synthesize, purify and characterize drug candidates and/or chemical probes (small molecule and peptide) to solve various chemical biology problems
·    Selection and application of appropriate purification techniques including flash chromatography, high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC)
·     Acquisition and interpretation of analytical data such as NMR and LC/MS
·    Become part of a creative and flexible team; collaborate and work closely with other scientists.
·  Contribute to experimental design, analysis, and interpretation of experiments
·    Collaborate with variety of teams to execute on chemical biology-based platform builds
·    Function and communicate effectively in a highly productive multi-disciplinary environment
·    Act as a leader in the laboratory, executing on program and chemistry strategy
