Analytical/Metrology Scientist Intern
About the Job
Support the execution of quality related activities for all products and services for Ereztech, a supplier of a broad range of specialty organometallics utilized in advanced material and catalyst applications. Support the technical development of analytical procedures. Ereztech is an ISO 9001 certified chemical manufacturing organization with customers that depend upon disciplined quality control from their suppliers.
What you will be tasked with
- Support method development and analysis of samples to provide Ereztech with a comprehensive analytical platform for all products and services
- Support internal and external audit/compliance activities.
- Execute protocols to ensure analytical 3rd party service providers and vendors are in compliance with ISO 9001 and customer statistical process control commitments.
- Documenting procedures for analysis of materials, monitoring processes, and interpreting results
- Work closely with both Engineering and R&D members to support experimentation that provides effective, quantitative experimental outcomes.
- Exhibit a strong safety culture and drive to improve.
Traits that make a strong candidate for this role:
- Desire to gain hands-on analytical chemistry experience
- Pursuing a BS or higher in Chemistry, Applied Physics, Chemical Engineering or other metrology related discipline
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to gain respirator certification and wear proper PPE as required
- Ability to understand and work effectively in a culturally diverse organization
