Staff Research Associate I/II - Hsiao Lab | University of California San Francisco

The Hsiao Lab seeks a Staff Research Associate I (SRA I) or SRA II candidate to join a vibrant translational laboratory research program in human skeletal and endocrine diseases. He/she will be an integral member of a research team that uses molecular and cell biology, mouse models, and human samples to investigate what causes abnormal bone formation, and how those mechanisms can be harnessed to treat human musculoskeletal diseases. Key responsibilities include assisting lab members with the maintenance of mouse lines and molecular biology related experiments, assisting with human induced pluripotent stem cell cultures and experiments, and lab management activities. Opportunities for working on a guided/independent project are also available and will be considered based on candidate experience.
