Regional Sales Manager, Midwest Territory
Due to significant growth in its core business, Merchants Fleet has an immediate opening for a full time Regional Sales Manager in our Mid-West Territory. This individual will be responsible for representing Merchants Fleet in a consultative/solutions-based sales and client relations capacity to solicit new commercial accounts and retain and develop growth opportunities.
What your day looks like:
- You will have the opportunity to influence C-suite decision makers and move opportunities from inception to completion
- Use your consultative expertise to identify unfulfilled needs of prospects. Spin that knowledge to develop and present solutions based upon Merchants value proposition
The Skills you bring:
- Expertise in use and management of CRM systems, Salesforce is preferred
- Strong networking and sales lead development skills
- Influencer with demonstrated negotiation skills
- Strong verbal and written skills with a wide range of levels up to and including 'C' level executives at client and prospective client companies
- Experience with common business intelligence software and ability to learn proprietary company software including on-line web-based tools employed by the company
- A basic understanding of how to interpret financial statements to assess the credit worthiness of prospective clients
- Knowledge of leasing contracts and deal structures along with ancillary fleet management services
- Excellent time management skills
- The desire, willingness, and ability to learn – inquisitive in nature
- Function as a team player and assist in directing and coordinating company resources to meet the needs of clients and prospects
- Home Office based
The Expertise you have:
- A minimum of five years’ experience within the fleet leasing and management industry, preferably in sales or a related field
- BA Degree is preferred or equivalent Fleet Sales Experience
- Demonstrated track record of being a top performer
Salary Range: A competitive base salary plus highest commission payments in fleet management
