POSTDOCTORAL SCHOLAR, BIOMEDICAL SCIENCES

The laboratory of Dr. Singla in the Burnett School of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Central Florida (UCF) is currently seeking a postdoctoral scholar. Candidates are expected to have experience in both cell culture and animal models to perform research on diabetes and or cancer drug-induced cardiovascular and muscle diseases.
 
The selected candidate must be independent, capable of writing and editing manuscripts, willing to train and work with lab members, and perform other lab responsibilities as required by the research such as maintaining lab equipment, ordering lab supplies etc.

Advertised Annual Salary:
Negotiable

Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must have a Ph.D. from an accredited institution in life sciences and have excellent oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Technical expertise in cell culture, molecular biological techniques, immunohistochemical and CRISPR technology will be preferred.

Special Instructions to Applicants:
The Burnett School of Biomedical Sciences is currently unable to sponsor applicants requiring a work visa due to budgetary or time constraints.
