BUSINESS ANALYST INTERN – JOB DESCRIPTION  
To fuel our growth, Kalypso relies on recruiting, training, and retaining top talent from leading universities through our Business Analyst Intern Program.

This 8-12 week summer internship is geared toward high-performing students who seek to jumpstart a career in innovation consulting. These consultants will gain client-facing experience - regularly traveling to client sites, assuming leadership roles among their team, developing meaningful client deliverables and experiencing Kalypso’s proud entrepreneurial and familial culture first-hand.

Those who demonstrate an ability to thrive in this team-based, fast-paced, intellectually demanding and often ambiguous environment will be automatically considered for a full-time position as a Consulting Analyst beginning in the Fall of 2023.
  
A BUSINESS ANALYST INTERN AT KALYPSO WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO -   
  • Consult with Fortune 1000 clients on key business imperatives related to innovation, strategy and product development 
  • Gain a breadth of experience across the Consumer, Life Sciences and Industrial High-Tech industries 
  • Design and implement disruptive digital technologies like Internet of Things, Machine Learning, and Augmented Reality to help clients drive business model innovation, enable new customer experiences and build new internal capabilities 
  • Optimize client’s new product development processes and deploy supportive enterprise technologies like Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Project Portfolio Management (PPM) solutions 
  • Contribute to the development of research & thoughtware on a wide array of topics on the leading edge of innovation 
  • Take a leadership role in driving internal initiatives and passion projects that improve the firm, strengthen our community and better our people. 
  • Live anywhere you wish, coast-to-coast, while being a part of a close-knit, familial community of fellow Kalypsonians across the globe 
 
TO QUALIFY FOR OUR ANALYST PROGRAM, YOU SHOULD POSSESS THE FOLLOWING – 
  • Undergraduate degree, preferably in Business, Economics, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Mechanical Engineering. 
  • Strong academic performance: Minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA strongly preferred 
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, preferably demonstrated in previous internship or part-time work experience 
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Demonstrated abilities in leadership and team building 
  • Creativity, self-confidence, and flexibility 
  • Willingness to travel (required) up to 80% 
  • Authorization to work in the United States
