R&D Lab Technician
Sunstar Engineering Americas is currently seeking a R&D Lab Tech I to join our R&D Department located at our Springboro locations.

The qualified candidate will report to the R&D Manager and be responsible primarily for providing daily support on assigned projects. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Work within schedule for project as assigned by Chemist and Manager.
- Make small quantity test batch and test according to specification and instruction.
- Test compatibility with process, other materials, etc.
- Report results and communicate accordingly.
- Work with spraying & basic lab equipment and ovens.
- Follow department procedures: 5S, ISO14001 & 9001, OSHA, Labeling, Safety, etc.
- Order Materials, Label, Stock, Perform waste characterization (RCRA)
Ideal candidate will have an Associates degree in a science related field or minimum one year laboratory experience. Chemical and compounding experience preferred. Spraying or robot experience helpful, but not required. Understanding of laboratory and safety procedures is a must. Must be proficient in Microsoft process, self-starter, follow directions and needs little supervision. Able to stand for an 8-hour work day and minimal lifting required.
