WREX in Rockford, IL is currently seeking a self-motivated individual with broadcast maintenance experience for a full-time opening on our Engineering Team.

The successful candidate will be able to combine people-oriented approach to maintaining technical and user-oriented equipment. The successful candidate will be able to respond to duties and tasks in support of news, programming, sales, and others when needed. Live location ENG and production experience is desired.

Qualifications include broadcast equipment maintenance and repair experience, IT skills, ability to troubleshoot and problem solve, and strong verbal and written communication skills.

Applicant should be able to work independently at times and must be available on-call all hours during the week and for scheduled weekends. This includes being available to travel to any company related jobsite at a moment’s notice when on-call.
