Engineer Intern
Job Description:
Nucor Vulcraft Indiana is seeking qualified candidates for a Sales Engineer Intern position at one of our 5 Sales Offices. (Hinsdale, IL, Indianapolis, IN, New Hudson, MI, Springfield, OH, Youngstown, OH) The successful candidate will have the opportunity to assist in project meetings, estimating, and special project work. Nucor Vulcraft Indiana is seeking someone that is able to work with all departments, plant, and customers as an integral part of the Nucor team.
As a Sales Engineer Intern, you will be working with in outside sales office on projects involved with but not limited to:
· Customer Relations
· Estimating
· Market Analysis
· Sales Engineering
· Detailing
· Design Engineering/Optimization
· Production
· Project Management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET accredited institution.
· Fluent in the English language using both verbal and written skills.
Preferences:
- Pursuing an emphasis in Structures
- Intent to pursue a Professional Engineering License
- Effective communication skills for internal and external interaction are essential
- Basic knowledge of building construction
- Ability to travel to other Vulcraft facilities within the Indiana umbrella
