As a supported* General Maintenance Technician, you would provide crucial services to keep operations running smoothly for the retired missionary residents at the Cowan Apartment facility.
Today, over 2000 people groups, 170 million people, still don’t have the Bible translated into their languages! Wycliffe USA believes the Word of God can transform lives when people hear it in their own language or form, and we urgently need you to join the team!
Job Location: Tucson, Arizona
Want to work in a different location? Wycliffe USA has many open positions located in Africa, Asia, Europe, Americas, and the Pacific! Regardless of where you live, you must be legally authorized to work in the United States as per U.S. employment laws.
Every day is different! One day you might perform basic electrical rewiring, work on a building project, or train a team member. Later you could overhaul a pump or repair a generator. Another day you might help a team member with maintenance emergencies in the home or office.

- You demonstrate the desire and ability to support corporate Biblical and religious goals and participate in regular work-related spiritual activities without reservation (Spiritual Bona Fide Occupational Qualification)
- You are able to diagnose and find solutions for electrical and mechanical issues.
- You have a heart for serving seniors.
- You work well independently and as part of a team.
- You have previous experience in maintenance work.
- You are comfortable using hand tools, power tools and welding equipment.
- You enjoy working on everything from major appliances to small engines to vehicles.
