Staff Scientist, Immunology

The Turtle Lab Turtle Lab is looking for a Staff Scientist who will work on independent and collaborative projects developing adoptive T cell immunotherapy for hematologic malignancies within the Program in Immunology and Clinical Research Division at Fred Hutch.  
Responsibilities
The successful applicant will develop and execute in-depth characterization studies and correlative analyses to support the development of CAR-T cell therapies. Successful candidates will have a strong foundation in human T cell biology and experience with standard and next generation analytical platforms for the characterization of T cell phenotype, differentiation, and function.
Qualifications
  • Applicants will have a PhD in a biological science and 2+ years of post-doctoral related experience 
  • Candidate must have a strong background in immunology, ideally in CAR-T cell engineering and T cell functional assays.
  • Robust skills in molecular and cellular biology including flow cytometry (multicolor panel design) ideal
  • Wet lab experience in CITEseq or single cell RNA sequencing using 10X Genomics systems preferred
