Intern (Project Management - Undergraduate - Summer)

Basic Purpose:
The mission of the Envolve Business Transformation Integration Team is to oversee the organization’s migration of Medicare and Medicaid members’ transition to the Envolve Pharmacy Benefits Management Platforms in a manner that provides Centene, our members and our providers a predictable outcome. Our mission includes managing the program to hold our business partners accountable for delivering their components required for a positive member and provider experience during the transition period. This includes communicating identified issues and risks associated with delivery to management in a manner that decisions can be made to resolve, mitigate or assume the risk.
The intern for Envolve will be working with the team to define, plan and execute on the 2021 “Similar State Presence” pharmacy migrations. The intern will work across multiple roles and have the opportunity to work with leadership and shadow and learn from management, project managers, and analysts on the team. In addition, they will learn about healthcare, Medicare, Prescription Drug Plans, and the Integration Management Office. They will assist the team with meeting minutes, documentation, and project plans and drive meetings and create presentations. Ensuring all documents are updated and in compliance with tools, templates, and processes outlined by the Integration Management Office and the Enterprise Project Management Office will be a key part of this role. The intern may be assigned specific projects to manage and drive.

Experience/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent. Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university or college, preferably in a field related to the hiring department through the internship period.
Preferred Area of Study & Skills: Healthcare, Business, IT or Project Management, Finance, Economics, MS Office including MS Project
