Business Developer - Entrepreneur - Healthcare

Founded in 1993, ALCIMED is an Innovation and New Business consulting firm, specializing in innovative sectors: life science (food, biotech, healthcare), energy, aeronautics, chemistry, cosmetics, materials, space and defence.
Our mission is to help our clients in the private and public sectors to explore and develop their uncharted territories including new technologies, innovative products and services, new usages and business models, innovation management, new geographies, and possible futures...
We are a team of 180 people with degrees from the best universities and international schools, most possessing a dual background in science and business.
We have six offices in Europe, one in the United States and one office in Asia.
The successful Candidate will have experience in sales of complex and intellectual services, knowledge of healthcare industry, experience establishing and executing strategic plans for prospects clients.
Your mission:
We will train and accompany you to develop your portfolio, generate opportunities through targeted prospection, efforts and opportunity management in the Healthcare industry in the U.S (Pharmaceuticals, Biotech, Medical device, Diagnostics, Vaccines and Animal Health industries…) You will realise the sales process from A to Z ,by:
  • Reaching out to Directors, C-level or VP level executives on both technical and business sides (Innovation, R&D, marketing, sales or general management), then meet with them and identify their business needs and issues
  • Showing deep understanding of the services we offer and our unique methodology and remarkable value proposition to support those partnerships.
  • Defining, along with our project managers, the appropriate methodologies and elaborating commercial proposals to best answer our client’s needs and negotiating the closing. Therefore, teamwork and collaboration with internal teams and clients are required for this position.
  • Following up your sold missions in close coordination with the realization team.
Career growth:Once you have proven your abilities to generate sustainable businesses, you become a Business Unit Director and you develop your own activities by managing your own team of consultants, business developers and project managers, ensuring your client’s satisfaction.
Your Profile:
  • You hold a Master’s, Pharm.D. or a Ph.D degree in healthcare related field and or business,
  • You are a true explorer and hunter, optimistic and passionate about healthcare.
  • You are motivated to create and identify new opportunities and ensure to fill you pipeline.
  • You have 1-3 years of full cycle B2B, high end services (Consulting, engineering, industrial services…) from lead generation to close.
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, tenacity, perseverance and professionalism.
  • Above all, you seek to give a meaning to your career by integrating a demanding company where you will sell missions with high intellectual added value which will contribute to the development of innovative solutions at our clients.
