Sales Developer / Sales Engineer

Howe Technology is a key provider of custom engineered control solutions & mechanical indicators gauges to world-class manufacturers for over 35 years.
We are currently looking to further expand our market presence and reach, and are looking for individuals with knowledge in marketing or business development interested in helping us expand by taking on new customers. Experience with B2B sales, industrial food equipment, HVAC systems, or similar equipment is a plus, but not required. An engineering background is also a bonus! We are willing to train the right individuals who are willing to learn and have a persistent work ethic.
This position is based in our Lake Zurich, IL headquarters.
Hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm, and you are required to be in the office most of the time. This position also requires travel to trade shows and customers visits.
Responsibilities
●       Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our products, their corresponding industries and general industry trends and concepts
●       Help develop our new marketing effort. Aside from generating and taking care of current leads, you will also have input on how we conduct our new marketing efforts which will coincide with the launch of our next generation of products.
●       Attend trade shows to find new customers and evaluate competitors (and develop new methods of marketing and advertising to replace trade shows in this age of COVID)

●       Entry level and experienced candidates are both welcome to apply
●       Must speak fluent English and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
●       Must be highly entrepreneurial and self-driven, very professional and have a strong work ethic
Salary and Benefits
●       Base + Commission
