Industrial Mechanic

We have an Industrial Mechanic position opening based out of our Sherwood location.

The Sherwood plant is looking for a candidate who is organized, detailed, has excellent communication skills and is familiar with preventative maintenance as well as bills of lading. Additionally, qualified candidates will offer experience in the following areas: welding, process piping, electrical and computer skills. Candidates who offer experience with evaporators and the whey drying process will receive special consideration. Qualified candidates should offer 3 years’ direct work experience as a mechanic in the food industry as well as the ability to lift up to 60 pounds.  

The work schedule of the position will primarily be third shift which is approximately 10:00pm – 6:00am and Monday through Friday. However, based on call in’s, production, preventative maintenance and special projects, this position will at times include any day of the week including weekends, so the person needs to be willing and able to work a variety of shifts and days of the week.
