Industrial Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer, located near a major airport near Phoenix, Arizona.
 
Responsible for installation, optimization and certification of new industrial systems; troubleshooting and repair services on the Company’s line of vibration isolation and electromagnetic field cancellation products.
 
Responsible for all aspects of field service support including communications between customers and the Company’s sales and service department, detailed preparation of written reports and documentation. Will work independently, possess strong customer service values and think critically to resolve technical issues on a variety of electrical and electromechanical instruments.
 
Must be able to attend three to eight weeks of initial technical training in Peabody MA. Must be able to perform new product installations, service on existing products, environmental surveys for existing and potential new customers domestically and internationally.  Must be able to diagnose and debug problems in the field, generate technical reports, perform floor vibration measurements, room magnetic field measurements and acoustic measurements and perform technical analysis.
 
Must have strong electrical, mechanical and pneumatic aptitude and troubleshooting skills; ability to read, interpret and analyze schematics and assembly drawings. Must be familiar with data acquisition systems, FFT analysis and oscilloscopes. Must have outstanding communication, MS Office, CRM software, problem solving, multi-tasking and time management skills.
 
Minimum of an Associate’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing or electrical engineering and a minimum of three years of field service experience performing installations, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment is required. Worldwide travel is required; however, most of the travel will be in the Western US – (50 – 80%). Must have a valid driver’s license.
