Internship Description:
This position will assist ongoing/new continuous improvement projects- mostly in manufacturing and warehouse environments; aimed towards increasing efficiencies, decreasing downtime, improving product quality, and decreasing lead times.
Responsibilities:
Conduct time and motion studies
Support data collection and data entry activities
Collaborate directly with other employees and work on projects independently
Support 5S program
Experience/Qualifications:
Enrollment in a four-year degree program in Engineering, Business, or a related field with current status of at least junior level
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
Basics in AutoCAD or MS Visio would be preferred.
