YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Respond to shop-floor problems by investigating the problem, initiating appropriate containment, developing a corrective action plan, and verifying the effectiveness of actions;
  • Facilitate internal and external calibration activities;
  • Develop and implement quality inspection methods;
  • Participate in bi-weekly continuous improvement meetings with the manufacturing team and facilitate assigned process improvement projects.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • B.S Engineering degree progression (desire Industrial or Mechanical Engineering);
  • Computer literate with knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Access, Google Chrome and Google Drive;
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision;
  • Strong mechanical aptitude;
  • Willingness to learn and successfully apply additional skills and knowledge (Kepner-Tregoe Problem Analysis, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, inspection techniques, product manuals, etc).
