Industrial Commercial Systems, Inc is in search of Sales Engineers "in training" to join our team. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary (DOE), company vehicle, health benefits, 401k, and paid time off, as well as an opportunity to earn bonuses. Our fast moving environment is centered on teamwork and corporate family. We are looking to develop career Sales Engineers who are positive, organized, detail-oriented, flexible, and quick learners. Duties will include, but are not limited to:
  • Spending 1 to 2 years shadowing a current ics Sales Engineer, assisting in the below items while learning the craft of selling design/build mechanical (HVAC & plumbing) solutions to southern California's highest profile construction projects.
  • Work with the Sales Manager to learn all aspects of the sales process.
  • Develop and maintain client accounts & relationships to produce sustainable revenue for ICS.
  • Leverage these relationships to: achieve higher capture rates, obtain negotiated projects (or last look), and maximize project gross margins.
  • Meet or exceed yearly sales goals.
  • Project a positive and professional image of ICS.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Lead Preconstruction team in vetting all project related documentation.
  • Develop a job specific sales strategy, including sales package.
  • Participate and manage design/build and design/assist meetings.
  • Review and finalize bid package prior to customer delivery.
  • Prepare and lead kick-off meeting.
  • Review project contracts, provides notes when necessary.
  • Be proactive in identifying issues and opportunities, and solving problems.
  • Routine visits to selected clients.
  • Develop ongoing client-specific marketing/sales strategies.
  • Celebrate victories.
