Industrial Sales Specialist

Job Description
At Tekno Valves North America, Inc we’re aware of the impact our cylinder valve solutions can have on the world’s leading brands, but we would be nothing without a successful sales team. We’re seeking a qualified Sales Specialist to extend our reach through expert discovery and exploration of new and untapped business opportunities and relationships. Our ideal candidate would be a quick learner with strong sales, business operations, and technical skills, with a focus on negotiation and closing deals. Often tasked with giving presentations to groups large and small, attending industry networking events, and working our booth at trade shows, it’s essential that our salesperson be approachable, personable, and professional.
Objectives of this Role
-         Represent our company with a comprehensive understanding of our offerings
-         Manage some of our existing sales pipeline, but focus on developing new business opportunities
-         Generate leads and build relationships, planning and organizing your daily work schedule to call on existing and potential sales outlets
-         Identify trends and customer needs while building a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline in accordance with targets
-         Meet weekly, monthly, and annual activity targets and sales quotas through the successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies and tactics
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
-        Possess in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct product demonstrations and solve user problems
-         Make cold calls or perform warm outreach, putting outside-the-box thinking to work to develop new and unique sales tactics
-         Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, make effective qualifying sales calls, institute a plan for successful bidding, and manage sales cycle to close new business
-         Prepare professional, complete, concise and accurate reports, proposals, packages, and other documentation as required for executive-level presentations
Skills and Qualifications
-         Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical or Business discipline or equivalent with a minimum 3-5 years selling experience desirable
-         Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-         Ability to understand and thrive in an environment that requires technical competency
-         Working experience with sales techniques
-         Ability to analyze business opportunities and adapt to changing customer demands
-         Ability to travel as needed
