Laboratory Technician I

MatMaCorp is a materials engineering and biological science company located in Lincoln, Nebraska. We are actively developing small, portable and easy to use medical and scientific instruments. Currently, we have openings for an entry level Laboratory Technician I within our Biology Group.

The ideal candidate will have experience in basic DNA technology and familiarity with molecular biology, biochemistry, and/or microbiology. We are looking for dynamic individuals with creative abilities who can work within a multidisciplinary team. Current openings are for candidates who might be interested in working with novel DNA isolation methods, developing molecular diagnostic tests and kits for the detection and identification of animals, plants as well as micro-organisms like bacteria and viruses.

A Bachelor’s degree in any of the Life Sciences is required. 1-2 year relevant experience preferred. This is a full time salaried position with benefits. Recent graduates who are interested in a laboratory research based career are strongly encouraged to apply.
