Electrical Controls Engineer

American Extrusion International is a global company engaged in the design, development, manufacture, installation and service of Grain Extrusion Equipment and other up/downstream accessories for the Food Industry. Benefits include regular work schedule, paid time off, health and dental insurance and 401k. 
Job Duties
The successful candidate will review and improve processes for manufacture of machinery and tooling, ensuring quality products will be delivered to customers.
Responsibilities
               Create and update electrical prints from which a machine control can be fabricated.
               Create bill of material to include all items necessary to build electrical controls.
               Communicate with vendors regarding price/capability of products.
               Collaborate with mechanical engineering and manufacturing to ensure an efficient process.
               Download and modify automation software programs
               Start-up and troubleshoot machines.
               Verify via checklist that all machines work as expected before shipping to customer.
               Travel may be required.
               Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
The successful candidate must possess:
               Bachelor’s degree or technical degree and experience.
               Working knowledge of MS Office
               Excellent communication skills.
               Understanding of manufacturing practices
               Ability to be productive with no immediate supervision
               Problem Solving and Analytical Skills.
               
While the following would be a plus:
               AutoCad experience
               Programming experience
               Bilingual/Multi-Lingual language skills.
