Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
 
Mettler Toledo is currently seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to work in our Masstron Manufacturing Facility on Huntley Road in Columbus. Within this role, you will:

  • Create CAD drawings for standard and customized products using Creo
  • Process engineering documentation for the vehicle and/or floor scale product lines (drawings, bills of materials, routings)
  • Conduct testing of vehicle and floor scale products
  • Provide engineering research, assist in the analysis of data and provide technical assistance to the responsible engineers related to the vehicle and floor scale product lines
  • Support local project management efforts
  • Create and update documentation for engineering standard work
  • Cost analysis for existing products and/or development projects
  • Assist the manufacturing and quality departments with engineering related inquiries
 
What You Need to Succeed
 
  • Proficient in the use of CAD (preferably Creo)
  • Self-starter that has the ability to perform assigned tasks and complete work on schedule with minimal supervision
  • Eagerness to learn and accept challenges
  • Task oriented and is able to handle multiple assignments
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Pursuing Engineering degree (preferably ME)
  • Excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills with a strong mechanical aptitude
  • Hands on approach
  • Strong computer skills (MS products)
  • Sophomore in college or above
